Miss Chu’s Tuckshop in Bondi – Bondi :o) $

We’ve always had take away miss chu rice paper rolls and goodies from the Darlinghurst tuck shop… until now! Time to eat in and try the Bondi restaurant!

We order from a A3 sheet of paper with an extensive choice and bring that to the counter.

Monsieur has his first frozen coconut juice and cannot believe how good this tastes… “Better than the fresh one!” This is no surprise, since they add a massive amount of sugar! :)

“Oh no! I can’t believe it’s frozen”… well, so it says on the plastic cup I reply! :)

The BBQ pork bun is very very bunny… not much filling so this is a bit of a let down…

Miss Chu in Bondi - Banh Mi

The Banh mi’s great, though we could have done without the chili. I find it to be quite filling and actually, of great price to quality ratio.

Miss Chu in Bondi - Banh Xeo

The vietnamese pancake is always a must have when we go to a vietnamese restaurant. This one is great, thought really pricey compared to what I usually pay for a Banh Xeo (AUD 16.5)… That said, Banh Xeo are only available in the Bondi shop… so we get one! Doesn’t disappoint, but I’ve had far better for cheaper. I guess I’ll stick to the rice paper roll next time we order!

    • Hi Annie!

It was lovely to meet you last Monday! Checked your blog and was truly amazed by your transformation!! Go Girl! :) You’ve done so well! Your weight loss from the pics left me in awe :)
The banh mi is good, but I’ve had better for cheaper. My favourite used to be Red Roll’s banh mi at Wintergarden… unfortunately, they’ve closed part of the food court :(
