Here’s my favourite eaterie in Bowral. It is also known as the Wild Food Café and is a café and a marketplace, how great!
[adsensea]The service was great and quick, I went for something savoury, choosing the Wild Breakfast: Your Choice AUD 20. I picked chorizo (very spicy and nice!), bacon (cooked to perfection), mushrooms (also great!) and organic sausage (not my favourite, but still, nice!). I had my eggs poached and they were poached to perfection. You guessed it, I was very very happy with that breakfast.
The only thing is I had to share it (first, because I love Monsieur and I know he loves chorizo, second because it was way to huge for me to have it on my own). Other sides you can choose from included avocado, slow roasted organic tomato, haloumi, fresh avocado, leg ham and spinach. I obviously wanted something meaty!
Monsieur went for Maple infused French toast AUD 14. Whilst very nice, I found the compote to be too acidic for my liking (had some apricots and rhubarb in) and the savoury option to be of better value.
I drank a very nice soy chai latte, and Monsieur had a Cappucino. Can’t remember the cost of these drinks, but they would amount to AUD 4 each as the bill came down to AUD 42.10. We found this was of excellent value, and Wild food café is warmly recommended!
