Monsieur wants what I got last time, which is a Nasi Lemak, so he trustfully lets me order (it’s always the case when it comes down to Asian food, as Monsieur realized that gweilo do not tend to order very well hehe).
The thing is, a queue is starting to build up behind us… So I wrongfully get a Nasi Goreng instead of the long awaited Nasi Lemak… Ouch. Shame on me
The buzzer rings, and Monsieur is all disappointed to see something wrapped in paper. Not what he wanted, and fishier than the Nasi Lemak. We both find it a tad awkward to have the Nasi Goreng on a piece of paper… It unfortunately shows how greasy the parchment paper is beneath!!
Nasi Goreng is a spicy traditional Malay style fried rice with chicken, egg, sambal and finished with fried shallots… Monsieur doesn’t like spicy very much, but fortunately, my curry sauce makes up for the taste of the Nasi Goreng.
The curry is delicious, and very consistent with what we got last time. Definitely a must have!
